Glencore International's Zinc / Lead Refinery and Smelter Operations, Italy

PAH completed a technical and environmental due diligence of Portovesme s.r.l., a wholly owned subsidiary of Glencore International AG of Switzerland, for Xstrata AG. Portovesme s.r.l. owns and operates the Portovesme and San Gavino metallurgical facilities in Sardinia, Italy.

Asturiana de Zinc (AZSA) Operations, Spain

PAH completed an acquisition due diligence of Asturiana de Zinc (AZSA) for Xstrata AG. The due diligence included technical and environmental reviews and audits. AZSA owns and operates mines and metallurgical facilities in Spain.

Zinc / Lead / Copper Metallurgical Operations, Norway and Sweden

A banking syndicate retained PAH to complete a technical due diligence of metallurgical operations including the Norzinc zinc refinery in Odda, Norway, and the Ronnskar lead/copper smelter/refinery in Sweden. The technical due diligence included a review of technology, capital costs for expansions at both facilities, construction schedules, operating costs, production capacity, environmental issues, infrastructure and associated facilities.
